Overview

The SEO Manager is responsible for ensuring White & Co’s content, websites and key initiatives are fully leveraged for organic search performance.

This role sits between content, social, digital and web. You will take content already being produced across the business – particularly social-first content such as Instagram, broker output and campaigns – and ensure it is repurposed, structured and deployed in a way that delivers long-term SEO value.

This is an SEO all-rounder role with strong technical foundations, focused on execution, optimisation and coordination rather than ownership of a standalone channel.

You will work closely with the Head of Marketing, Digital Marketing, external web agency, Broker Content Lead and creative teams to ensure SEO is built into how content is planned, reused and distributed, not treated as an afterthought.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Enablement & Content Repurposing

  • Take existing content produced for social, campaigns and broker activity and translate it into SEO-optimised website content
  • Identify opportunities to turn single-channel content into multi-channel, search-led assets
  • Ensure key business initiatives are supported by structured SEO content (supporting pages, clusters and internal links)
  • Guide teams on how content can be extended or adapted to support organic visibility

On-site SEO & Content Optimisation

  • Manage keyword research, search intent mapping and content prioritisation
  • Optimise existing pages for ranking, engagement and conversion
  • Support the creation of SEO-led content including:
    • Community and area guides
    • Initiative and campaign landing pages
    • Broker profile enhancements and narratives
    • Market commentary and thought leadership
  • Own internal linking strategies and content relationships across the site
  • Ensure written content aligns with brand tone and quality standards

Technical SEO (Execution & Coordination)

  • Support the technical SEO health of White & Co’s websites
  • Work with the external web agency and Digital Marketing to:
    • Maintain clean site structure and URL logic
    • Improve crawlability, indexation and page speed
    • Address Core Web Vitals and mobile performance issues
  • Flag and track technical SEO issues through to resolution
  • Ensure SEO considerations are included in site updates and launches

Off-site SEO & Authority

  • Support off-site SEO through content-led authority building
  • Collaborate on backlink opportunities via PR, partnerships and digital coverage
  • Ensure broker and leadership visibility contributes to domain authority

Performance & Optimisation

  • Track and report on organic performance including rankings, traffic and engagement
  • Use search and performance data to inform content reuse and prioritisation
  • Work with Digital Marketing to align SEO outputs with wider performance goals

Skills & Experience

  • 3–6 years experience in SEO or organic growth roles
  • Strong experience with on-site SEO and content optimisation
  • Practical understanding of technical SEO fundamentals
  • Experience working with content, social or creative teams to repurpose output for SEO
  • Comfortable working with web agencies and developers
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to explain SEO value clearly to non-SEO stakeholders
